Prophetic Word: “I Am Enlarging You”

I heard God say: “I am enlarging you.”

The word enlarge means to expand, extend, or increase in size and capacity (Merriam-Webster).

Prophets and prophetic people hear God in different ways. For me, having come to Christ in my late 20s, God often speaks through what’s familiar—especially my love for movies and TV. Today, He showed me the VHS cover of Honey, I Blew Up the Kid. Immediately, I heard:

"I am enlarging you, and the things you once saw as small will be enlarged as well."

This includes ideas, opportunities, businesses, investments—things that once felt insignificant but will now expand beyond what you imagined.

From Shrinking to Expanding

As I leaned into this, I was reminded of how many in the Body of Christ have described 2024 as a difficult, frustrating, and even stagnant year.

But before Honey, I Blew Up the Kid came Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.

I believe these past few years have been a time of shrinking—a season where progress felt impossible. Many of us were so determined to move forward, yet every step seemed met with resistance. What should have been simple became incredibly difficult—like children, suddenly the size of ants, trying to cross their backyard.

But hallelujah, we are no longer stuck! 🙌

Even though some of us are still carrying the weight of what we endured, we are walking into a season of enlargement. We are no longer making lateral moves—but vertical ones. 🚀

A Word of Wisdom

With enlargement comes new challenges. Many of us have wrestled with feeling unseen—but being seen comes with its own difficulties. When you become visible, you also become a target.

As God enlarges you, you will outgrow places, people, and even mindsets that once fit you perfectly. And just like natural growth, there will be growing pains.

But here’s the good news: This won’t be a long, drawn-out process.

Just as in the movie, the transformation will happen suddenly. You will wake up one day in a completely different situation than you were in the day before.

This Word Is Not for Everyone

This is for:
🔥 The depth diggers
🔥 The committed
🔥 The wounded but still fighting
🔥 The dreamers
🔥 Those willing to move in the darkness before the dawn

There is a grace over us in this season, but it requires movement. To be part of this blessing, you must choose to move with God.

I’ll leave you with a quote the Lord has spoken to me many times:

“Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready.”
